The draw was City's second point in the CSL season and allowed them to move ahead of North York Astros.
St. Catharines improved to a 3-1-4 record for 13 points as a result of the tie, five less than National Division leaders Trois-Rivieres Attak. City moved out of the cellar with a 0-6-2 record.
The game was played mostly in the midfield. Both goaltenders, Claudio Perri for St. Catharines and Matt Baca for London City, had strong games.
City's next game is next Friday at Cove Road against undefeated Toronto Croatia.
