www.Wotif.com, a company specializing in online accommodation, for the 2009 season.
Wotif.com, based out of the United Kingdom, is looking to expand into Canada through soccer and hopes that fans of the game will take the opportunity to travel with their favourite club because of the cheap accommodations they can obtain at some of the best hotels throughout the country.
Ryan Gauss, General Manager and C.E.O. of London City Soccer Club Inc., says that this is a step in the right direction for the club, especially as the Canadian Soccer League is looking to expand out into Western Canada and eventually across the nation.
"London City is very excited to be partnered with Wotif.com and hopes that our fans will take the opportunity to enjoy this top-class service." Gauss said.
"Playing in a league that is continually expanding and travelling to destinations that require overnight accommodation, this new partnership will allow, and encourage, our fans to make the trip out of town to watch 'City' play away from Cove Road Field. This is step in the right direction for our club as we are anticipating the rapid growth of the Canadian Soccer League." Gauss concluded.
The sponsorship agreement with
www.Wotif.com will begin in April 2009 and all London City Soccer Club players will be wearing the company's logo on the leg of their shorts this spring.
